Why Join Tri Sigma?

  • Greek women have a higher average GPA than non-Greek women on a college campus.
  • The adjustment from high school to college life can be tough without the help of friends. Having a support system, like a sorority, can make the transition a lot smoother and easier.
  • You will make bonds with girls which will last far beyond your collegiate experience.
  • Being in a sorority will be a great networking tool and  will help you instantly become more active on campus.
  • You will expand your leadership skills (there are many office positions and committees you can join and be apart of), you learn how to speak publicly, run meetings, manage a budget and motivate others. All of these skills are beneficial and can carry over into your career. Not to mention the awesome networking opportunities! We have sisters and alumnae of all majors and careers.
  • Helping others in need, through community service and philanthropy events, is one of the most rewarding feelings. We hold our own philanthropy as well as attending all organizations philanthropies and events.
  • Being in a sorority allows for many social opportunities but we always place academics first and offer many ways to help sisters succeed in classes.
  • Not all events are mandatory, so it is very simple to manage life outside of the sorority.
  • Don't let finances deter you! We work on an installment system and fundraise, to make it easier for all members to keep up with their financial dues.
